BBC news has an "In Pictures" section which often posts pictures sent in by readers. There are two categories to submit - one is for "Day in Pictures" which can be anything - its like seeing news through the readers' eyes.  Another one is to submit for the weekly theme. They set a theme, you submit a picture, and they pick out about 10 to post on their website. I'd highly encourage going through them/submitting. I got a really nice new camera as a two years' birthday/Christmas combination gift. Unfortunately, I know very little about its functions/how to use them/what they actually mean. I'm going to play with them, but there is a limit to how far I can go with that - any critic / suggestions about where I can learn will be appreciated.
